What Storm? Our Residents Stay Safe and Warm No Matter What the Weather

When Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast in Fall 2012, our residents stayed safe, warm, and comfortable throughout the storm. That’s because Five Star Premier Residences of Chevy Chase has the infrastructure to weather any storm. During Hurricane Sandy, our emergency generators provided power, our maintenance crew worked overtime, and our managers did whatever was needed – whether staying overnight in the community or driving employees to and from work – to ensure that all systems ran as usual. That’s what happened behind the scenes. But inside, our residents carried on as usual – safe, warm, and with friends.
